Venues for Hire

Burdekin Shire Council operates and manages a range of venues available for public hire including the Burdekin Theatre, Burdekin Memorial Hall & the Ayr Showgrounds. Click the images below to find out more information on each our available venues. 

 

Burdekin Theatre

Our 472 seat auditorium is perfect for stage shows, award ceremonies & conferences
 

Burdekin Theatre Music Loft

An ideal space for meetings, training and smaller events.
 

Burdekin Theatre Forecourt

A functional outdoor space with a fully functioning performance stage
 

Burdekin Theatre Foyer

A cabaret performance and function space with the capacity for 140 guests.
 

Burdekin Theatre Deck

Located within the Burdekin Theatre, The Deck is a great space for small events, or as a break out space for larger events in the Theatre Foyer.
 

Burdekin Memorial Hall

The complex includes a main hall, minor hall and meeting room.
 

Burdekin Multi-Purpose Hall

The Burdekin Multi-Purpose Hall is located with in the Ayr Showgrounds and can now be hired on a casual basis for large scale events.

 

Ayr Showgrounds Hall

This hall has a capacity of 200 and includes a commericial kitchen and bar.
